City of Komárom municipal wastewater treatment plant

2019. Between December and June 2021, the expansion works of the waste water treatment plant in Komárom took place, during which Inwatech Kft was commissioned with the following tasks:

• the fully licensed and executed design
• construction works covering all disciplines within the premises
• commissioning and trial operation

As a result of the investment, the hydraulic capacity increased from 4,500 m3/day to 8,000 m3/day, and the biological capacity increased to the equivalent of 57,067 inhabitants. During the trial operation period, it was proven that the quality of the treated wastewater meets the requirements for all parameters.

Cleaning technology installed in my warehouse:

• Mechanical pre-cleaning and rainwater buffer
• Continuous biological reactors (2 pieces of new, combined equipment that includes a water settler)
• Tertiary cleaning stage, membrane ultrafiltration system
• Sludge thickening and dewatering line (using rod thickeners and centrifuge)
• Odor treatment
