Our second biogas plant was built on the cattle farm of Gyula-based Körös-Maros Biofram Kft., with a nominal electrical capacity of 499 kWh. The plant, which uses cattle litter and liquid manure, corn silage and other ensiled fiber feed as raw materials, produces 200-230 Nm3 of biogas per hour in 2 2500 m3 fermenters, the combustion of which produces electrical and thermal energy. In addition to on-site self-consumption, the produced electrical energy is sold through a public network. The plant designed and built by our company was completed by the end of 2010 and has been operating since March 2011 after the trial run. In order to facilitate continuous operation, our company provides engineering supervision for the plant supplemented by remote access, so we have accurate information about the plant parameters 24 hours a day.
